Testing on a phone

  1. Open an app link on the phone, or scan its QR code from this page on a desktop.
  2. In Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen and open the app from there. It runs full screen with the real status bar, so safe areas and Dynamic Type match a native app.
  3. On a phone the page runs the app without the fake iPhone frame (device mode). Add &mode=frame to the URL to see the frame anyway, or &mode=device on a desktop to preview device mode.
